Support Strategies
To understand the business’s psychosocial risk, the client conducted a comprehensive Psychosocial Risk Assessment, supported by WFRs Mental Health and Leadership team in August 2020. The purpose of this was to identify key workplace mental health risks by evaluating hazards, causes, and potential impacts of various psychosocial factors. This proactive and holistic assessment consequently enabled the team to better understand and address the key drivers of employee wellbeing, helping to reduce psychosocial hazards and create a safer, healthier work environment.
Our client then engaged WFR to complete a comprehensive Mental Health Positioning process. This allowed their senior leaders to explore their views on the importance of mental health in their business, workplace obligations, the role of management, and the business strategy going forward. Through the process of interviews, workshops, reviews and reports, the outcomes were a map of the organisational context for mental health, defined desired mental health outcomes, agreement on how the organisation will talk about mental health, and agreement on the roles of the organisation versus the part of the individual.
The Mental Health Positioning led to tailoring Mental Health Workshops for the workgroup. This program, containing 2 training courses, was designed to build a mentally healthy workforce culture across all levels of the organisation, with training tailored to both general staff and leaders.
Scope of Services
