2025 Biggest Flex

Client Success Stories

At WFR, we’re proud of the incredible impact our Workplace Wellbeing Specialists (WWS) have made for our clients throughout 2025, specifically their dedication to transforming workplaces into safer, healthier, and more productive environments.

Therefore, to celebrate this outstanding year, we invited our team to share their biggest ‘flex’ – the actions that have truly made a difference. As a result, we’ve gathered inspiring success stories that highlight how our health and safety initiatives are transforming lives and workplaces for the better.

workplace health and wellbeing

Client 1 – Workplace Wellbeing Program

Challenge: An employee was hesitant to seek help for health concerns.
Action: After attending a few health presentations, the employee felt more comfortable consulting with the WWS. Thus, initially, carrying out cholesterol and Blood Pressure checks – both high risk. Consequently, through coaching, they made significant lifestyle changes – by improving their diet, reducing smoking and alcohol consumption, exercising regularly, and scheduling a sleep study.
Result: Using a CPAP machine, their sleep improved dramatically – from 170 wake-ups to 0, achieving 8 hours of sleep and 2 hours REM. And now that their BP is under control, they can start running again and play basketball. Regular WWS check-ins continue.

Client 2 – Physio Support

Challenge: Multiple long-term Workers’ Compensation injury cases.
Action: WFR’s onsite physio team supported several patients back to full duties safely, with confidence and function restored.
Result: Injury management processes have moved in a positive direction with strong collaboration between the client, and WFR’s physios and project manager.

Client 3 – Fit4Life Program

Challenge: Client wanted to improve health and wellbeing in a certain department.
Action: WFR rolled out Fit4Life; participation was voluntary, but WWS achieved 80% engagement.
Result: After noticing significant health improvements and positive feedback from the crew, the department manager requested another program rollout.

Client 4 – Wearable Sensor Technology

Challenge: Recurrent injuries from a task that the client considered low-risk.
Action: WWS used wearable sensor tech to analyse movements, revealing that during the task, the employees performed 300 squats/lunges and 9,000 wrist deviations daily.
Result: Data helped implement risk mitigation strategies, reducing repetitive stress and overall risk scores.

Client 5 – Workplace Wellbeing Program

Challenge: Engagement in after-work social sports was low.
Action: WWS introduced a Futsal competition.
Result: Participation steadily grew to 20 players on average – playing, socialising, and laughing. Now, the competition still runs even when WWS isn’t on site!

Looking Ahead for Workplace Health in 2026

We’re proud of these achievements, but we know there’s more to do. Together with our clients, we’ll continue to innovate and expand programs to keep people safe, healthy, and engaged at work!
