Our Story

WFR are the leading providers of workplace wellbeing solutions; committed to supporting businesses and people to thrive.

Established in Western Australia in 1997, WFR’s reputation grew quickly, based on our unique offering of blended wellbeing services, highly skilled team members, and a client-focused approach. WFR now have team members based around Australia delivering a broad range of wellbeing support services to global, national and local businesses across all industries.

Meet The Team

OUR TIMELINE

  • 1997

    WFR established. Office opens in Subiaco, W.A. Commences work at Big Bell, our first mining operation.

  • 1998

    WFR quickly grows into the mining industry, starting work at Golden Grove, Darlot and Lawlers

  • 2000

    Owner Steve Gauci joins the business.

  • 2002

    Chris Kelly joins the business! And we move our offices to East Perth.

  • 2003

    Mikala joins the business.

  • 2005

    Work starts with BHP and is ongoing 20 years later. WFR’s staff numbers reach 20.

  • 2006

    WFR expands East, winning a corporate health program with St Barbara’s Melbourne Office.

  • 2008

    WFR awarded first offshore energy projects with Maersk Drilling (Nan Hai VI and Discoverer).

  • 2011

    Staff now based in all capital cities, and WFR’s staff number reaches 35.

  • 2014

    Commenced work with Shell Tankers Australia, representing WFR’s first overseas project.

  • 2015

    Brunei Gas Carriers partner with WFR, the first overseas-based client.

  • 2016

    Mental health solutions are incorporated into our services.

  • 2017

    20 years in operation. Still leading the way…

  • 2018

    We expand our work with Asahi, who becomes our first truly national client.

  • 2019

    Flyura joins the business

  • 2020

    WFR develop of online and virtual support programs to complement our services.

  • 2021

    We reach 40 staff members across Australia.

  • 2022

    In business for 25 years... and better than ever.

  • 2023

    A fresh new brand and bigger office move

  • 2024

    Physiotherapy early intervention solutions are added to our services

  • 2025

    We welcome a new community partner - HHTS
